On March 11. 1986, Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc., became the first Latina Greek Letter organization to be established on the west coast. It was founded by 18 Latinas from diverse backgrounds. Since then, we have kept close to our hearts the ideals set forth by our Founding Mothers as the foundation of our organization: academic excellence, service to the Latina/o community, cultural awareness, and sisterhood. Through these ideals we have strengthened our sisterhood which now includes 27 chapters in 5 states. |
